While living in Brooklyn, New York, Sarah was touched by the loving outreach of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church Shelter.
The shelter has been committed to assisting the homeless since the 1980s through a variety of actions and programs. Sarah volunteered here during her time in New York, and she currently gives back to help the shelter provide a loving, compassionate experience for its guests.

Friends of the Homeless of Tuscarawas County

Sarah volunteers locally at the Friends of the Homeless shelter in New Philadelphia, Ohio. She initiated a “Sketchbook Club” as a way to connect with guests living at the shelter. Sarah provides sketchbooks to interested participants and enjoys the opportunity to chat about art and music with new friends as they sketch.
